LIFE (Live Interactive Full Embodiment) is Atelier Daruma’s live motion capture system: performers’ movements drive their avatars in Unreal Engine with under 100 ms of latency, in front of the audience.

In July 2024, at the Grenier à Sel in Avignon, dancer Irina Bashuk gave the first public demo performance of LIFE for Spectacle Vivant, Scènes Numériques. In February 2025, Isabel Le Cras (Cie Voix) performed it at the Studio Béjart of Chaillot, Théâtre national de la Danse, for Chaillot Augmenté × TMNlab.

LIFE won the France 2030 “Augmented live performance experience” call for projects, operated by Caisse des Dépôts through Banque des Territoires, and is presented with Dark Euphoria.
