Paris, 1921. The visitor becomes Ernest Beaux and presents five fragrance samples to Gabrielle Chanel. The birth of N°5, guided by the voice of Marion Cotillard.
Virtual reality, haptics and scent answer one another in a hybrid installation: the physical set, the objects you touch and the scents you breathe are all synchronised with the story.
Presented in competition at Venice Immersive during the 79th Venice Film Festival, the experience was redesigned in 2025 for new international deployments.
